Green, blue and white lights circle apparently at random on the exterior wall of the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT. Opposite, on the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT, a red light shoots down the façade in straight lines.

Two large-scale light artworks radiate an image which is in continuous motion: The "Networks of Knowledge", designed by the Aachen artist Annette Sauermann, radiate a range of colors, shapes and intensities.
